SCHEDULING

Here at Iconic Salon we value your time and the time of our stylists which is why we kindly ask that you adhere to our scheduling policies. If you need to cancel or change an appointment, please give us at least 24 hours notice to avoid penalty fees. To cancel your appointment, you must message our salon phone during our business hours.
We reserve the right to reschedule any appointment if you are 15+ minutes late.
If you cancel less than 24 hours before your appointment, you will be charged 50% of the scheduled service. If we did not take any payment upon booking, you will be required to pay the 50% fee to book any future appointments.
No shows without prior communication will be charged 100% of the scheduled service which must be paid before scheduling a future service.
We require a card on file to book an appointment. Once an appointment is made you are agreeing to the terms of our cancellation policy.

No, it’s a suggestion only. In order to ensure we can help you reach your hair goals when it comes to extensions, we kindly ask all potential clients to book an in-person or virtual consultation so we can better understand your needs and how we can help you. You can begin this process by messaging the salon. Consultations are $45.

We love social media, but the easiest way to reach us is to message the salon phone during business hours. If you reach out on the weekend or after hours please allow up to 24 hours on the next business day for reception to respond.

EXTENSIONS

We use beads and string to install the extension wefts. You can expect very comfortable and light-weight extensions. We do not use any glue, adhesive, or tape when installing extensions. Our main focus during your install is the natural hair and scalp health. Our wefts are high-quality human hair that are custom-made to hold 20g of hair instead of the industry standard of 15g. That way, you can wear fewer hair extensions and have fuller hair. Plus, our wefts lay flat to the scalp and are less bulky.

Come in with clean, dry hair that’s been thoroughly brushed.

You can expect your appointment to last between 4-6 hours on average to install the hair extensions and color. After that, maintenance appointments are typically 2-3 hours.

With the right love and care, they can last up to 9 months or even a year! Yes, really!

They range from 18” (straight) and 22” (curly). We are continuously expanding our collection of extensions. If you haven’t already, be sure to subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when we add additional lengths.

The hair is 100% natural Russian Slavic hair. The quality lies in its soft silky texture. All of the hair is double-drawn instead of single-drawn, making the hair full from its roots to its ends. The hair cuticle is intact and lies in its natural direction meaning its tangle-free.

Yes! We’re continuously expanding our collection of extension colors. If you haven’t already, be sure to subscribe to our newsletter to get notified when our new colors are released.

You can trim our extensions anywhere along the top seam without the hair shedding.

As your natural hair grows, you will need to consider moving up your extension. This can happen at the 6 to 8 week mark. On average most of our clients go 8 weeks in between appointments. Of course, this also depends on how quickly your hair grows and your personal preference.
With all that said, on average, your extensions will need to be completely replaced every 7-9 months. With the right care, we have seen them last up to a year! Even though they’re 100% human hair, they don’t receive the same nutrients your natural hair gets from your scalp so you may notice normal wear and tear at this point and will need to look into replacing them.
MAINTENANCE

Yes, but with caution, of course! There are minerals found in some waters that can react poorly with your extensions which can dry them out or cause discoloration. To avoid this, we recommend wetting your hair with water before swimming and adding a good amount of leave-in conditioner or a hair masque. Then braid your hair to avoid matting. We love our tropical vacations, too, so as long as your hair is prepped right, your extensions will be fine.

You’ll rarely find us without our Eleven Australia Smooth & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum by our side for every day extension care. It’s made with pure argan oil and it’s free of silicones like dimethicone. Apply 3-4 quarter-size pumps in your extensions and brush through daily.

Avoid sleeping on them while they’re wet.
Brush them daily.
Shampoo and condition your hair as usual! Of course, be careful when brushing, blow drying or styling your hair so you don’t snag the hair. You can work out, be active, and go about your life with your hair as normal. If you’re a braids or ponytail gal, go for it! Just be careful and don’t pull them!
Blow dry them every time you wash them. Your natural hair is in its weakest state when it is wet and extensions are their heaviest. To avoid any issues, we highly suggest you blow dry them with our suggested products after getting them wet.
Use professional products that are moisture based. Here’s some of our go-to’s:
Our favorite masque is Monat Super Moisture Masque or Monat Replenish Masque.
Use serum daily. We suggest around 3-4 quarter size pumps of Eleven Australia Smooth & Shine Anti-Frizz Serum. This can be applied on wet or dry hair. We love to put it in our hair extensions before bed, brush them through, and put them in two loose braids before sleeping.
To avoid discoloration, please avoid letting any tanning oil touch your extension hair! For sunscreen, we suggest using a mineral-based sunscreen without any avobenzone so it doesn’t discolor your extensions. We love SunBum Mineral Sunscreen!
With all that said, extensions are really more low maintenance than your natural hair. You are able to go longer in between shampoos and they hold a style much longer than natural hair.

No. All sales are final. The decision to refund a service is at discretion of our salon.
To request a redo service please notify the salon within 1 week of your appointment.
We are not liable for the quality of your natural hair or the extension wefts once you leave the salon. It’s the clients responsibility to follow our full aftercare and product suggestions for the best results.
